Obituary
Harry C. Greenleaf of 522 W. 14th St., Duncansville, died at 1 p.m. yesterday, April 23, 1973, at Bayfront Medical Center, St. Petersburg, Fla. He was born Aug. 25, 1901, at McKee Gap, a son of Jacob and Mary (Baker) Greenleaf, and was married to Florence E. Baker on Feb. 28, 1923, in the Duncansville Lutheran Church by the Rev. Isaac Krider.
Surviving are his wife, two sons and a daughter, Charles of Brookhaven, Harry C. Jr. of Duncansville RD and Mrs. Leonna Metzgar of St. Petersburg; six grandchildren,, one great-grand-child and five brothers and sisters, Elmer and Mrs. Anna Nelson of Catfish, Mrs. Bertha McCloskey of Hollidaysburg, Miss Ella of Altoona and Frank of McKee.
Mr. Greenleaf retired in 1958 with 40 years' service in the car shops of the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a member of the Duncansville Lutheran Church, Portage Lodge 220, F&AM, Williamsport Scottish Rite Bodies, Jaffa Shrine Temple and Holliday Rovers.
Friends will be received in the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Same as below: page 17, column 2.
GREENLEAF - Services for Harry C. Greenleaf of 522 W. 14th St., Duncansville, by the Rev. Philip Ziegler. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received in the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
