She was born March 22, 1927, a daughter of Harold E. and Elizabeth Cook Bennett.
She married Russell Walter Buhler on March 1, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple.
She was reared and educated in Kaysville. She retired from HAFB after 30 years of service, where she received numerous awards. She was a member of the Kaysville Ninth Ward and served in the Sunday school, Primary, Mutual, Relief Society, and as a visiting teacher.
Surviving is her husband Russell of Kaysville: three sons and three daughters: Dean R. Buhler (Kristen), Hyde Park; Mark B. Buhler (Sue), West Valley City; Don W. Buhler (Kaye), Highland; Mrs. Tom (Arlene) Hughes, Ucon; Mrs. Owen (Linda) Mason, WA; Susan Thatcher, West Valley City; She also had 27 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Miller and LaRae Bennett, one brother Dale C. Bennett, son David, parents, and grandson Jake Thatcher.
Funeral Services were held on Monday, August 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Kaysville East Stake Center.
Interment followed in the Kaysville City Cemetery.
