Inez M. Marable, of Monroe, died suddenly Dec. 8, 2000 at her residence. She was 83.
A native of Newton County, she was the daughter of the late Jones O. Mobley and Elmira Edwards Mobley. She was retired from Oxford Manufacturing Co. and Monroe-Walton Mill. She was a member of the Monroe Church of God.
Funeral services were held Dec. 11 in the Chapel of Arthur Bowick Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Willis officiating.
Interment was in the Mountain Creek Cemetery.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Kent Allen of Resaca, sister, Christine Cunningham of Clinton, S. C., brother, Paul D. Mobley of Stockton, Calif, two granddaughters, Cathy Pugh and April Rackley, five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
