James E. Cornwell 62, 2501 North B St. Elwood, died Friday at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. Born Sep 28,1925 in Elwood he was the son of Edward and Geneva DeVaney Cornwell. He married Clarice Shawhan Aug 17,1945 she survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are two daughters; Rebecca O'Haver of Sweetser and Debra Howell of Pendleton, three sisters; Diana Brayfield of Hobart, Betty Vest of Elwood and Sharon Rushing of Portage and four grandsons. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home. Rev Brian Morton will officiate. Burial will be in the Elwood City Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
