A member of Sandy Level Baptist Church for over 60 years, she was a member of the L.L.L. Sunday School Class. Ruby possessed a deep and abiding faith in her Lord that was lived out through her love and care for others.
Ruby loved her flowers and gardening. She was undeterred by health concerns and continued to paint and create works of art for family and friends. She was an inspiration and friend to many at the Sterling House, where she resided for eight years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Elbert H. "Dick" Boney; daughter, Linda Margaret Boney; and her brother, Henry Albert Bass.
