Arnold J. Barkemeyer, 91 of Fort Smith, died Monday, June 30, 2003 in a local hospital.
He was a retired stock clerk for Berry Dry Goods, a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, the Temple Masonic Lodge NO. 755 F&AM, the Western Arkansas Scottish Rite Bodies and a volunteer at Sparks Regional Medical Center for 30 years.
He was survived by a sister, Helen Butler of Fort Smith.
A Memorial service was held at St. Paul United Methodist Church. The body was donated to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
