GEORGE DOSHIER JR.

George W. Doshier, Jr., 54, of 6207 Avenue P-1/2, Galveston, died at 10:45 a.m. Monday in John Sealy Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at J. Levy & Bro. funeral home, with Baylor Anglin, Broadway Church of Christ, officiating. A 3 p.m. Wednesday service will be held at the Church of Christ in Antlers, Okla., followed by burial in Darwin Cemetery.
He was born April 8, 1915, in Darwin , Okla.
A resident of Galveston for the past 20 years, he had been an employee of the University of Texas Medical Branch for the past 12 years. He was a member of the Broadway Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, L. Marie Doshier of Galveston; three daughters, Mrs. Fredda Sue Anderson of Texas City, Mrs. Gerrie Marie Cooksey of Shreveport, LA., and Mrs Karen Rae Turpin of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Dobbs of McAlister, Okla., and Mrs. Flora Snodgrass of Antlers, Okla.; four granchildren.
