Jefferson Swank, 89, native of Hancock County and former Findlay resident died at 10 o'clock Wednesday night at the home of his son Irvin Swank, 3315 West 48th Street, Cleveland. He had been ill two weeks from myocarditis.

While living in Findlay, Ohio he lived on Eben avenue.

Mr. Swank served in the Civil War in the 1st Ohio Heavy Artillery also in Company G, 87th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. After the war he was a member of Stoker Post G.A.R.

He was a retired sawyer of a lumber mill.
