Funeral services for Mr John David Moon, age 67, one of Comer's prominent citizens, who died Friday morning at 7:30 from Bright's disease, will be held today at 11 a.m., at the graveside in Comer cemetery. Friends may send flowers to the Dorsey Co funeral chapel, Athens, before 9 o'clock this morning.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs Laura C Moon and three sons, Cecil Moon, who is connected with the wholesale department of Michael Bros., Athens, and James P and Carl Moon of Comer. Seven grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs Olivia David and Mrs Susan Mitchell, of Comer, also survive him.
Mr Moon was a prominent farmer and a member of the Odd Fellows fraternity.
