DANIEL M. SEKULOVICH Long Beach, CA/Gary, IN Daniel Sekulovich, age 84, formerly of Gary, IN, passed away on January 24, 2009.
He is survived by his brother, Karl (Mona) Malden (Mladen Sekulovich); nieces, Mila (Tom) Doerner, Carla (late Laurence) Starkman, Beth (Steve) Nichols; nephew, Milo Dan (Sandy) Sekulovich; great uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Minnie; brother and sister-in-law, Milo (Elizabeth) Sekulovich; niece, Patricia Sekulovich.
Daniel graduated from Gary Emerson High School, earned a Bachelor's Degree and Masters Degree in Education from Indiana State University, and also received his Ph.D. in Speech Pathology from Long Beach State University.
Donations may be made in Daniel's memory to the American Cancer Society, Great Lakes Division, Inc, 1551 E. 85th Avenue, Merrillville, IN 46410.
Services will be held privately by the family.
Private interment at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.
