She was the daughter of Tom and Etter (Crane) Brashier. Survivors include her son, Bill LaRue and wife Carolyn of Oklahoma City, OK; three daughters, Kim Heuring and husband Steven of Lompoc, CA, Susan Hawkins and husband John of Hoyt, OK and Tommie LaRue of Porum, OK; two sisters, Letha Brewer of North Carolina and Margrette Shoemake of Eufaula, OK; three brothers, Ernest Brashier and wife Carol of Checotah, OK, Luther Brashier and wife Levena of Porum, OK and Leroy Brashier and wife Dortha of Porum, OK; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters,Jewel, Annie and Mary Lou, and three brothers, Lloyd, Tom and Charlie. Funeral Services will be Tuesday Aug. 11, 2009 with interment at Briartown Cemetery.
