Mr. Couchois and Ms. Marie Rosine Graveraet Wright had one child, John Cushway Couchois born April of 1874. John Baptiste Couchois had passed away in October 1873, just 4 months following his marriage to Marie Rosine, and 6 months prior to the birth of their son John Cushway Couchois.

Wright at this time. I have seen a few records claiming that Mr. Wright "adopted" John Cushway Couchois; however, this could not be correct as Mr. Wright had passed away in 1870, four years prior to the birth of John Cushway Couchois.
