Four days after his 2nd birthday blond haired,blue eyed little baby Eugene was riding in the back of the wagon with his family on the way into town, he was fascinated by watching the wagon wheels turn and was leaning over the side, the wagon hit a bump and little Eugene fell out of the wagon and was crushed across his chest by the wheel , there was no hospital nearby and he died. This story was told to me by my grandmother, Grace Donaldson Dalton, his sister.
