HAMPTON, RUTH - age 78 of Knoxville, passed away August 14, 2004 at her home. She was a member of Huckleberry Springs United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Jesse "Jack" Hampton sons Dave Hampton, Dean Hampton and wife Mary daughter Dawn and husband Steve Mosteit grandchildren: Seth, Christopher, Sarah, Bekah, Stephanie, and Michael sister and brother-in-law Jean Witt and Kent Hampton special friends: Keith and Sandy Martin and many more special friends. Family will receive friends Sunday, August 15, 2004 from 4-6 pm with the service to follow at 6 pm at Evergreen Chapel. Rev. John Goins and Rev. Clifford Amos will be officiating. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Huckleberry Springs United Methodist Church. Family and friends will meet Monday, August 16, 2004 at Huckleberry Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery at 10:45 am for an 11 am interment. Evergreen Chapel 7426 Asheville Highway, Knoxville, TN 37924 is in charge of arrangements.
