BELVIDERE - Eva E. Langley, 88, of Belvidere died at 12:08 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2004, in Biltmore Rehabilitation Center. Born Dec. 10, 1915, in Durand. Daughter of Leamon L. and Maude (Long) Kinyon. She was baptized at the dedication of Durand Methodist Church. Graduated from Durand High School, Class of 1933. Employed by Dr. E.C. Bucher after high school. Employed by Barber-Colman during World War II, until moving to a farm in Boone County in 1943. She was a private music teacher, teaching piano and organ for 42 years and played for churches, weddings, funerals and the OES for 62 years. Member of Order of Eastern Star, Scottish Rite Women's Club of Freeport Consistory and 50-year member of Loves Park Chapter 1027. Former member of Capron, Poplar Grove and Boone County Granges.

Survivors include her sons, Ronald (Roberta) and Allison (Valsheria) Langley, both of Rockford; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several cousins. Predeceased by her parents; brother, Allison Kinyon in 1933; and all her aunts and uncles.

Graveside services at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 12, in Durand Cemetery, with the Rev. Richard Wisdom to officiate. Visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday in Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. A memorial will be established. 4-10-2
