McCullough Funeral Home obituary:

Mozelle Rape Lowe, 94, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2005 at Perry Hospital. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, at the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Centerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, May 9 at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Kathleen Building Fund, 103 Bear Branch Road, Kathleen, Georgia 31047.

Mrs. Lowe was born May 8, 1910 to the late Silas Milton and Sarah Lucia Rape. A native of Houston County, Mrs. Lowe was a member of Centerville Baptist Church and also attended First Baptist Church of Kathleen. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Winn Dixie where she worked in the Meat Department. Preceding her in death were her husband of 24 years, George Washington Lowe, four sisters and one brother.

Survivors include her son, William G. Lowe, Sr., Kathleen; eleven grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
