Anthony E. Hickey, 19935 Kelly St., Clay Township, died Friday afternoon in his residence.

He was born in South Bend Aug. 13, 1896.

Surviving are his widow, Barbara; four daughters, Mrs. L.R. Allen of Newark, Calif., Mrs George Nash of Denver, Colo., Mrs Richard Kreigbaum of Plymouth, and Barbara Ann of South Bend; eight sons, Eugene of Battle Creek, Mich., Donald, Robert, Thomas, George, Kenneth and Dennis, all of South Bend, and Edwin with the U.S. Navy at Norfolk, Va.; 18 grandchildren, and three brothers, Clarence of Bertrand, Mich., James of Mishawaka, and Benjamin of Lafayette.
