Funeral services were held for W P Spears, 73, in the First Baptist church, Hornbeck, Feb. 21 at 10 am Rev Bobby McCuller, Rev Graham and Rev Prewitt officiated. Interment was in Oak Grove cemetery. Survivors are wife, Bertie; sons; Alfred, Cullen, Clarence, A J and Charles; daughters, Mrs Sam Berel, Mrs Effie Coco, Mrs Eva Lee Bond, Mrs Maxine Byrd; one brother, Columbus Spears; sisters, Mrs Hattie Hilton, Mrs Allie West, Mrs Katie Prewitt, Mrs Nina Jett, Mrs Mary Cox, Mrs Virgie Shell; 21 grandchildren, 6 ggrandchildren and a large number of nieces and nephews.
