Mrs. Albertina Sommers, mother of County Commissioner Frank Sommers, died this morning at 12:30 o'clock after a lingering illness at her residence, 409 Tenth street. Mrs. Sommers was the widow of Francis Sommers, and though born in Germany, she had lived here 62 years, coming to this city at the age of four years. She is survived by four sons, three daughters, a sister and a brother. The funeral will be held at 5 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the late residence, interment being in the Knights of Pythias cemetery.The remains were laid to rest beside those of the husband of the deceased, who died several years ago.
