Randy Joseph Millsaps, two-year-old son of Lee and Annie Lou Sprinkle Millsaps of Statesville, route 5, died at 9 a.m. yesterday at a Salisbury hospital. He had been in ill health most of his life.
Surviving are the parents; three brothers, Archie, Ronnie and Steven Millsaps, all of the home; six sisters, Mrs. Ancil Ball and Mrs. George Hindson of Landis, Mrs. Lewis Pope of Statesville, Mary Ann, Lavonne and Nancy Millsaps of the home and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Sprinkle of Statesville, route 5.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at New Prospect Baptist church. Rev. G.D. White and Rev. Ervin Wallace will officiate. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the home at 5 p.m. Friday.
