Naomi Parker passed away January 26, 2006 in Los Alamitos from complications of a shunt implanted in March 2005 for NPH.

She was born in Clarkston, Utah on June 12, 1919, the oldest child of Frank and Arminda Godfrey. She attended school in Clarkston and North Cache High School.

She married Orson A. Parker of Mendon, Utah in 1937. They moved to Santa Monica, CA in 1940, and then to Los Alamitos in Orange County, CA in 1959.

She has been retired for the past 25 years, and was able to enjoy comfortable retirement being with family, friends, neighbors and traveling.

She was preceded in death by
her husband, Orson;
and two younger sisters, Donna and Wilma.

She is survived by
her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Tom Gunckel II of Santa Ana, CA;
her son, Ronald Parker of Fremont, CA;
two grandchildren, Nancy Gunckel Mitchell and Tom Gunckel III;
and two great grandchildren, Natalie and Mike Mitchell.

A memorial service was held at the LDS Chapel in Los Alamitos, CA. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cypress, CA.
