LaVerne Orton Booth, 98, returned home to her Father in Heaven and family on April 30, 1994 in Salt Lake City.

Born January 16, 1896 in Parowan, Utah to Albert Holmes and Mary Elizabeth Clark Orton. She married Jame Kaye Booth on June 18, 1917 in Parowan. Their marriage was later solomnized in the St. George LDS Temple. She was a member of the LDS church and was a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for over 30 years.

She is survived by a daughter Beverly and her husband Oscar Rowland, Salt Lake City, five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Clark Orton and two sisters, Evelyn Benson and Dorothy Blackburn.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 3, 1994 at 11:00 am at Larkin Mortuary, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
