Funeral services for Clarence V. Bere Sr., 74, 2717 Brownsboro Road, Louisville were held today at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1406 E. Washington Street, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. He died Saturday at Baptist Hospital East. He was a native of Borden, a former employee at Levy Bros. and the old Oertel Brewing Company, and a member of St. Joseph Orphans Society. Survivors include his wife, the former Dorothy Roos; one son, Val Bere, Louisville; and two grandchildren. A. Neurath & Son, 725 E. Market Street, was in charge of arrangements.
