Albert C. Gnau, 65, a retired bookkeeper, died at 7 a.m. yesterday [December 15, 1947] at his home, 2046 Alta. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nettie Gnau; two sons, Lt. Col. David Gnau, Fort Bragg, NC, and Albert C. Gnau Jr., Buechel; a daughter, Miss Elise Gnau; two brothers, Lewis Gnau and Ed Gnau; two sisters, Miss Levinia Gnau and Mrs. E.M. Ford; and one grandchild. Funeral will be at 9 a.m. tomorrow at St. Agnes Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Gnau Jr., and Miss Elise M. Gnau; also survived by 1 grandchild; brothers, Lewis & Ed A. Gnau; sisters, Miss Lavinia Gnau and Mrs. E.M. Ford. Remains at the residence, 2046 Alta Ave. Funeral from the residence Wednesday morning at 8:45 and from St. Agnes Church at 9 o'clock. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Members of the Holy Name Society will meet at the home this Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock to recite the rosary. Please omit flowers.
