ROANOKE, AL -- Graveside services for John Will House, 57, of Roanoke were 11 a.m. Saturday, 18 Jul 1998 at High Pine Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev Bobby Kirby officiating.
Mr. House died Thursday, 16 Jul 1998 at his home after an extended illness.
A lifelong resident of Chambers and Randolph counties, he was born 19 Dec 1940, son of John Tom and Mary Will Howard House. He was a member of Solomon Masonic Lodge #74 in LaFayette, AL.
Survivors include his wife, Olivia Moore House; three daughters, Melissa H. Kirby, Rita H. Yarbrough and B. J. House; and one granddaughter, Ariel Kirby, all of Roanoke, AL. In addition to the three daughters, he is survived by one son, Michael House of Lovejoy, GA; three grandchildren and one niece.
He was preceded in death by his only brother, Hurell House.
Pallbearers were Gerald Allen, Norman Wade, Keith Nelson, Gary Nelson, Chris Ray, Dave Strain, Wayne Strain and Jimmy Fetner.
Arrangements were by Quattlebaum Funeral Home, Roanoke, AL.
