James Monroe Baldwin of Roanoke Rt. 1, age 55, passed away in the Randolph County Hospital Sunday, 9 Dec 1963 at 3:15 a.m.
Mr. Baldwin is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Baldwin; 3 sons, James and Gene of Roanoke and Edward of Grand Rapids, MI; 2 daughters, Mrs. Sue Henry and Miss Shirley Baldwin of Roanoke; 15 grandchildren; 1 brother, Charlie Baldwin of Hogansville, GA; 3 sisters, Mrs. Eva Walker of Wedowee, Mrs. Birdie Henderson of Shawmut and Miss Beulah Baldwin of Roanoke.
Funeral services for Mr. Baldwin were conducted Monday afternoon at 3:00 from the High Pine Baptist Church by Rev Lindsay Mitchell. Burial was in the church cemetery. Quattlebaums Brown Service Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
