Mrs. Phillip E. Hunchman, the former Pearl Eglin, died at midnight Sunday [November 11, 1963] at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She was 70 years old. Mrs. Hunchman lived at 1716 Sanders Lane. She was a native of Louisville. She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. D.M. Kaltenbacher, Baltimore, Mrs. W.H. Ford, and Mrs. A.G. Hawkins Jr.; four sisters, Mrs. Elsie Carden, Mrs. Carrie Mesmer, Mrs. W.C. Daughtery, and Miss Goldie Eglin; and six grandsons. The body is at the W.G. Hardy Funeral Home, 4101 Dixie Highway, where services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens.
