Remains at Palmer & Waters Funeral Home in San Louis Obispo, CA.

Achille Dubourg, 55, formerly of Shelbyville, died at a hospital in Atascadero, CA, Sunday [October 21, 1951]. Mr. Dubourg was a son of the late Achille & Augusta Kaltenbacher Dubourg. His father was at one time chief of police of Shelbyville. Mr. Dubourg was associated with the late Sam Atlas in the Goodyear Store in Shelbyville, moving to Louisville about twenty-five years ago. He moved to Denver, CO about six years ago and two months ago went to Arroyo Grande, CA, where he was in business with his brother-in-law, Thomas Gahafer and where he resided at the time of his death. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lincoln Meena, Louisville, mother, Mrs. A.W. Dubourg, Louisville, five sisters, Mrs. Hubert Freville, Miss Marguerite Dubourg, Mrs. L.J. Schuler, Louisville, Mrs. A. Biagi, Shelbyville, Mrs. G.L. Frank, Nashville, TN. The body was removed to Palmer & Waters Funeral Home in San Louis Obispo, CA. Funeral and burial took place there.
