Franklin Edward Flora, 65, of 747 Courtland Avenue, died at 4 o'clock Friday morning in the Wabash County hospital where he had been a patient since Saturday. Death was caused by heart disease and complications.
The decedent, a life resident of Wabash County, was born Feb. 9, 1886 at Ijamsville, the son of Andrew and Lucinda (Hicks) Flora. He was married in Wabash to Aera Mae Wigner who survives. Other survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Chalmer Airgood, Mrs. Robert Hall and Mrs. Clyde Easterday, and Mrs. Eva Young, Huntington, and Mrs. John Alvey, Washington,; two sons, John, Huntington, and Walter, wabash; and seven grandchildren.
He was a member of the Church of the Brethren.
Funeral servcies will be held at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Wire Funeral home with the Rev. W.C. Stinebaugh in charge of the services. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday evening.
