Funeral services for Willie "Bert" Terral Stancil, 95, of West Monroe will be held at 3:00pm, Friday, March 2, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Beulah Cemetery near Spearsville under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Stancil went to her heavenly home on February 27, 2018. She possessed the inner beauty that can only come from Christ. She filled her life and all those around her with counsel, love, compassion, kindness, generosity and a true sweetness in countenance and actions that was touched with so much fun and happiness. She was truly a lady of gentle inspiration, an angel close by.

Bert was born on April 19, 1922 to Samuel & Fannie Terral. One of 13 children, including five brothers, Frank, E.C., George, Sam and James and seven sisters, Di(Denton), Lou(Colvin), Fance(Willis), Ruth(Squyres), Mary(Risinger), Virginia(Balkom) and Elizabeth(Crabtree).

Mrs. Stancil was preceded in death by her husband, Due Allen Stancil; parents, Samuel & Fannie Terral; eleven siblings; two daughters, Sharon Stancil and Diane Ballard; two sons-in-law, John Ballard and Ronnie Haile; and a great-grandson, Connor Hance.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Sandra Haile of West Monroe and Gloria Cross(Ernest) of Georgia; two grandsons, Stephen Plummer(Debbie) of Spearsville and Allen Cross (Alexis) of Florida; six granddaughters, Kelly Haile Hance, Robin Haile LaPietra(Jesse), Terral Haile Anderson, Tracy DePriest Daniel(Greg), Cathey Heimgartner Dunphy(Del) and Diane Cross Buono(Douglas); twelve great-grandchildren, Victoria, Houston, Taylor, Chandler, Cole, Zachary, Payton, Reagan, Colton, Trent, Drew, Tracy(T.J.) and Micah; three great great-grandchildren, Parker, Olivia and Emerson; one sister, Mary Risinger of Spearsville; and a host of other family and friends.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm until time of service Friday, March 2, 2018 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.

Memorials may be made to Beulah Baptist Church of Farmerville or First Baptist Church of Calhoun.
