He was a Jeweler and Watchmaker and had his shop in his house for a many of years.
He and Lilla Beth had no children and she taught school after his death.

Frank Richard Heflin, 50, watchmaker in Stamford for 26 years died at Stamford Hospital.
Services were held at First Baptist Church with Rev. Miles B. Hays, pastor, officiating.
Mr. Heflin moved to Stamford in 1909. He suffered a spinal injury when a child from which he never fully recovered.
Frank Richard Heflin married Lilla Beth Graham in 1926 at Stamford, Texas.
Mr. Heflin established a watch repair shop in his home in 1937 and worked there until failing health forced him to retire.
Survived by his wife; two brothers - Mac and A.J Heflin; seven sisters - Mrs. J.W. Bell, Mrs. J.W. Merrell, Mrs. Mathew Bradberry, Mrs. Wade Dewees, Mrs. Mary H. Penn, Mrs. Effie Walker, Mrs. Mattie Jones.
