Frank L. Brown, 57, who died in a local hospital Friday morning, was buried Saturday afternoon from the Methodist church, with interment in the Groveton cemetery. Rev. R. Gage Lloyd officiated with Brotehr Reagan and Brother Waldon assisting.
Mr. Brown was born january 10, 1884, and died on his birthday, January 10, 1941, being exactly 57 years old. His death followed a two years' illness, which was climaxed by three months of severe illness with a heart ailment. He married Miss fannie Hillen, who survives him. Mr. brown was as member of the Presbyterian church, having untied with the church when 19 years old.
He is survived by his wife; three sisters; Mrs. Fannie Harkins, Mrs. Jim Merriwether and Mrs. Jim Cook, all of Kennard; two brothers, Sloan of Houston and Charlie of Kennard.
Pallbearers, nephews of the deceased, were: Wilse Brown, Tom Liles, Jim Liles, Mike Harkins, John Merriwether and Mr. Thornton.
