Virgie Robinson Hamilton was born on April 15, 1933 to the late Eugene and Novella Robinson of Fairfax, VA. She married the late Oliver Jerome Hamilton on June 20, 1953. To This union 2 daughters and one son was born, the first would be Olivette named after her father, and Sheila, and Anthony.

Virgie had many nicknames, but the one that mostly stood out was "Madear". Virgie was a wonderful mother and grandmother to her family. Virgie eventually went back to school and pursued her passion for nursing which would be eventually passed on to her granddaughter Andrea Foreman. Virgie not only had many talents and gifts, but she was also an avid piano player and love to travel around the world.

The Lord decided that heaven would be a beautiful place for Virgie, and on December 26, 1988 she quietly entered into her eternal rest to be with Jesus. She leaves behind her daughter Sheila Hamilton, and her son Anthony Hamilton. and her grandchildren, Andrea Foreman of Hampton, VA LaBaron Hawkins of Waldorf, MD. Heyward Starling III of Temple Hills, MD. Shanice Hamilton of Denver, CO. Alicia Hamilton of Denver CO. and Jaron Hamilton of Denver CO. She was preceded in death by her mother Novella Robinson and her father Eugene Robinson.
