Dorothy Florence Finch Dunning, 97, a resident at Stockhoff Memorial Nursing Home in Fredericktown died July 20, 2009 at Stockhoff.
She was born January 27, 1912 at Flat River, Missouri, the daughter of William and Susan L. (Hollins) Hill.
On January 26, 1930 she was married to Guy E. Finch at Womack, Missouri. He preceded her in death.
She later married Freddie Dunning who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Finch Dunning was also preceded in death by her sister, Ethel Finch.
She is survived by one foster son, Larry Finch of Fredericktown; one daughter, Glenda M. (Matthews) Darnell of Fredericktown; several step-children and step-grandchildren; two grandchildren and three foster grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two foster great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Finch Dunning was of the Pentecostal Faith and enjoyed church services and Cockatiel birds.
Services were held July 23, 2009 at Follis and Sons Chapel with the Reverend Clyde Bess officiating. Burial was at Libertyville Cemetery in Libertyville, Missouri.
Pallbearers were her grandsons.
