Taylor Center - Jan. 20, 1908 - Last Friday afternoon occurred the death of Harris Allen. He was ill with pneumonia for less than a week, but has for many years been a patient sufferer from rheumatism and spinal trouble. He was a kind and obliging friend and neighbor and will be greatly missed by his family and a large circle of friends and relatives. His age was 54 years; he leaves a wife and five children, an aged father and mother; one brother, George of Taylor Valley and one sister, Mrs. Herbert Potter of Cortland. The funeral which was largely attended, was held from the church here today, Monday. Rev. H.S. Bacon officiating. Interment was made in the Taylor Cemetery.
