Texie Golden Ferrell
Texie Golden Ferrell, 72, Route 3, Sneedville, died Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 30, 1990) at her residence.
She was a member of Pound Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maude and William Oscar Lawson; one grandson, William Calvin Ferrell; one brother, D.K. Lawson; and one sister, Winnie Melton.
Surviving are two sons, Allen Ferrell and Alvin Ferrell, both of Sneedville; one daughter, Peggy Helton, Bulls Gap; ex-husband, Herbert Ferrell, Sneedville; six grandchildren; three sisters, Fodell Lawson, Eidson, Wanda Carson and Esther Helton, both of Morristown; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the residence.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pound Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Alonzo Collins officiating.
Burial will be in Pound Hill Cemetery.
