Mrs. Carl Bohm, 85, who had been making her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Louis H. Weitting, 1524 Elm St., Davenport, died Monday morning in St. Luke's Hospital, after a six month illness.
The former Mary Zak was born in Bohemia, May 12, 1872 and came to America with her parents at the age of 9 years. She had resided in Davenport for 43 years.She was married to Mr. Bohm March 14, 1894 in Oxford Junction, Iowa.He proceeded her in death. Mr. Bohm was of Lutheran faith.
Surviving are two daughters Mrs. M.A. Bennett and Mrs. Weiting, both of Davenport, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and a brother, Edward Sal of Oxford Junction. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held in Runge Chapel. Additional services will be held in the Lutheran Church, Oxford Junction.
