Edwin J. Bubb, 79, of Hanover, entered into God's eternal care, Sunday January 4, 2009 at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Dolores (Sutter) Bubb who died Sept. 10th, 2003.
Born August 6th, 1929, Edwin was the son of the late Maurice and Helen (Berwager) Bubb.

He was a member of Emmanuel U.C.C., Hanover, the Hanover Historical Society the Patmos Lodge F. and A. M. #348, Hanover and the Zembo Shrine AAONMS, Harrisburg. Edwin also was a member of the B.P.O. Elks #763, Hanover, National AARP and was a National Associate member of the Smithsonian Museum.

Mr. Bubb owned and operated Bubb's Bootery, Hanover for 35 years. He was a manager for Hanover Shoe stores in Brunswick, N.J., Lancaster, PA and Hanover. Edwin loved to travel and was able to visit every state in the continental U.S. He also enjoyed collecting hats.

Edwin in survived by a son Greg S. Bubb and his wife Tammy (Fuhrman), New Oxford, a granddaughter, Kelley R. Bubb and her companion Jason Garber, Hummelstown, PA, a great granddaughter Rylie K. Garber, a sister Geraldine Greenholt and her husband Charlie, Hanover and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate the life of Edwin will be held 1:30pm Thursday at the Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA with Rev. Patricia A. Leader officiating. The viewing will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm with a Masonic Service scheduled for 7:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
