Anna "Annie" was born at the Bacon homestead on Fackler Road in Jefferson Township, Allen County, Indiana. She attended the Bacon School (Dist. School #8). She married William Sherman Sims in 1890. They lived in Columbia City, Indiana, until 1911 when they moved to Fort Wayne. Sherman dies in 1928. Anna later married William Nott.
