Miss Edna Campbell

FORRESTON - Miss Edna M. Campbell, a Forreston resident for many years, and secretary for 50 years with the Forreston County Mutual Fire Insurance Co., died Monday in a Freeport hospital where she was a patient for the past 22 days.

She was born in Rockford, Nov. 5, 1891, daughter of Walter Charles and Gertrude A. (Lanz) Campbell. Miss Campbell was a member of Evangelical United Brethren Church, and a former school teacher in the Forreston area. She had also worked as a in the a clerk for many years in the Forreston State Bank.

Funeral service will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Dougherty-DeGraff Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Mevis, pastor of EUB Church, officiating. Burial will be made in White Oak Cemetery.

Two nephews. Robert Twigg of Rockford, and Mertehelle Twigg, of Oregon survive, along a niece, Mrs. Richard (Alice) Sevy of South Bend, Ind.

Friends may call in the funeral home Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Miss Edna Campbell
