Jerry W. Hammons, 59, of Tipp City, Ohio died on Monday, January 3, 2005 at the Upper Valley Medical Center ER.

He was born on Novermber 28, 1945 in Woodbine, KY to the late Elmer and Lucsilvia (Elliott) Hammons Gray.

He is survived by his wife, Judith A. Sutton. Also surviving are daughters and son-in-law: Laura Nicole & David C. Davie of Fletcher, Ohio and Lisa Noel Hammons of Piqua, Ohio; step son, Steven Alan Wesco of Troy, Oho and step-daughter & step son-in-law; Teresa and Gary Freeman of Troy, Ohio. He is also survived by his sister, Shirley Stath of Palos Hills, ILL. He is also survived by grandchildren, Zachary C. Davie; Kiley Morgan Davie, both of Fletcher, Ohio; step-grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Nallen of Troy, Ohio; Lindsay Lee Blair of Piqua, Ohio and Ashley Lane Freeman of Troy, Ohio. There are five step-great-grandchildren; Skyler Nallen; Grace Nallen; Peyton Allen; Madison Blair and Rumer Freeman.

He is preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Ambrose.

He was a member of Sidney Deer Hunters Association; former member of Buckskinning Camping and Served in the US Navy.

He was a Tool and Die Maker with Perfecto Industries in Piqua, Ohio.

Pastor Jonathan Newman will be officiating the service.

Memorial Honor Guard will take place at the Funeral Home on Thursday, January 6, 2005.
