Juanita Brooks, age 68, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind her loving husband, Leonard, of 49 years. They were planning to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this coming first of September.Juanita was a homemaker. She loved to cook, sew, crochet, embroidery, tend flowers, dance and spend time with friends and family. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grand-mother, she never forgot an anniversary, birth date, or special occasion. She will be missed by all who knew her.She is survived by six children, Moses (Debra), Mark, Berna (Robin) Amrine, Janis (Dennis) McMaster, Debbie (Eric) Hovland, and Matt (Kathryn); 12 grandchildren, Caleb and Jeremy Brooks, Tricia and Adrean Amrine, and Erica (Michael) Leitch, Aaron (Angela), Alex, Derek, and Maisey McMaster, Melissa Hovland, and Kyle and Luke Brooks; and two great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Christiffer Leitch. Juanita is also survived by four brothers, Melvin, Clifford, Wilbur, and Kenneth Anderson, and their respective families.She was preceded in death by one grandson.At her request, no services will be held. There will be a private graveside committal for immediate family only.
