Mrs. Beatrice Castevens Holbrook, age 79 of Traphill Road, passed away Monday, August 29, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Holbrook was born November 19, 1925 in Wilkes County to Dewey "Red" & Beulah Holbrook Castevens.
Mrs. Holbrook was a member of Round Hill Baptist Church and was previous owner of Holbrook Motel in Wilkesboro. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include: her husband James W. Holbrook of the home; a son, Ralph Samuel Holbrook and wife Karen of Traphill; a brother, William Clinton Castevens of N. Wilkesboro; a granddaughter, Christian Laray Holbrook.
A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Round Hill Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Matthew Higgins.
