He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He leaves his wife, Mrs. BernaDean Ward of the home; four sons, Gary Lee Ward, Michael Wayne Ward and Randy Allen Ward, all of the home, and Joe Lee Ward, Waterloo, Ia; a daughter, Miss Karen Lynn Ward of the home; two brothers, Jack D. Ward and Bobby Ward of Kansas City, and his father, Jess M. Ward, Kirksville,Mo.
