QUITMAN, LA - Services for Mr. Jessie James Chelette, 82, of Quitman, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday August 5 at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro, La. The Rev. R. P. Willis and the Rev. H. M. Roach will officiate. Burial will be at Springhill Cemetery near Jonesboro.

Mr. Chelette died Sunday, August 3, 1986, at Jackson Parish Hospital after a long illness.

He is survived by his wife, Coreen Chelette of Quitman; three daughters, Mrs. Mattie Mae Coleman of Bossier City, La., Mrs. Florence Dubois of Colfax, La. and Mrs. Lucille Lord of Kenner, La.; one son, Jack Burris of Quitman; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Burchan of Lake Charles, La. and Mrs. Vienna Chelette of Colfax, La.; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Keith Burris, Kenneth Burris, Theron Lord, Albert Lord, Henry Lord and Larry Dubois.
