Gertrude Eloise Crew Cable passed away July 29, 2009 at Muskogee Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, John H. Cable Jr., her nieces Gwyn Cable Broyles and Karen Cable Matkin, her nephew John Curtis Cable, and her brother-in law and sister-in-law Joseph and Bettye Cable. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Grace Episcopal Church at 218 N. 6th Street, Muskogee, OK 74401 or your favorite charity. Private services will be held with interment at Greenhill Cemetery under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
