CONWAY — Betty Allen Flythe, 67, died Friday, March 21, 2003, at Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids. A native of Northampton County, she was preceded in death by her husband, Beverly "Tennie" Flythe and her grandson, Bryan Pope. She was a housing specialist with CADA helping many families find homes and a member of Conway Baptist Church. She will especially be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Flythe Warren and her husband, Tommy, of Murfreesboro, and Beverly Flythe Mineo and her husband, Franco, of Ahoskie; three sisters, Mildred DeCosi of Southern Shores, Antoinette Turner of Conway and Vicki A. Davis of Conway; six grandchildren, Allison Warren, Andrea Warren and Travis Warren of Murfreesboro, Leah Britt, Francesca Mineo and Isabella Mineo of Ahoskie.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 24, at 2 p.m. at Conway Baptist Church by the Rev. Willie McLawhorn. Burial will follow in the Town of Conway Cemetery.
