Daughter of Charles Hanley Johnson and Alice 'Allie' B. Sexton who married Aug 3, 1897, Asbury Park NJ.

Her mother Allie was married to Frederick Nelson on the 1920 census, South Orange NJ and Augusta Johnson 21 was residing with them.

She was first married to James King and widowed, married Thomas Francis Mulherin in 1933.

Augusta was separated by the 1950 census, Raritan, Middlesex, NJ living with her married son James E. King family.

Augusta and Thomas Mulherin divorced in 1971, Volusia, Florida.

Her obituary uses last name King.
