Rector-Jenkins, Mary Essie, 77, homemaker, passed away after a long battle with breast cancer on July 30, 2009. Preceded in death by husbands Cecil Rector and Andrew Jenkins and sons Billy and Larry Rector. Survivors are Charles Rector of Hutchinson, KS, Calvin Rector and Donna May of Marana, AZ, Kathy Stein of Phoenix, AZ; sisters Juanita Hawkins, Hazel Streble of Rogers, AR, Ruby Simpson; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Funeral service is 1:00 pm Monday, Aug. 3 at Bridgeport Missionary Baptist Church. Memorial in lieu of flowers with Bridgeport Missionary Baptist Church, Building Fund, 3233 N. Market, Wichita, KS 67204. Resthaven Mortuary.
