Ethyl L. House, 92, of Adams, formerly of New Hope, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at Adams Health Care Center.
She was born July 17, 1911, in Neponset, Ill., to George and Alice (Suggitt) Chase. She attended school at Buda, Ill.

On Jan. 27, 1928, she married Theodore Morgan House in Kewanne, Ill. In 1942, they moved to Minneapolis. They also lived in Austin for a short time before returning to Minneapolis, where Ethyl lived until moving to the Adams Health Care Center.

Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Francis "Red" House, Austin; Paul and Lois House, New Rope; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Marvin Miller, Adams; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, a daughter, three sisters and a brother.

Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, with a 7 p.m. prayer service and Wednesday for one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Traufler officiating.
Interment: Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Funeral Home: Adams Funeral Home, Adams.
